Initiatives

Food + Beverage Stipends

Nourishing creativity by removing financial barriers
Charleston’s culinary professionals are the heart of the city’s hospitality scene, but financial barriers often limit participation. This initiative provides direct stipends to chefs, restaurateurs, and makers—covering costs like travel, ingredients, and labor—so creativity and inclusion can thrive at Charleston Wine + Food.

Education + Workforce Development

Pathways to Purpose-Filled Careers
Our programs, including the High School Culinary Scholars Enrichment Program, combine classroom learning with paid externships, mentorship, and industry certifications. In partnership with local schools, we’re preparing the next generation of hospitality professionals—fostering opportunity, equity, and long-term success in the culinary field.

Culinary + Hospitality Investment Fund

Fueling people, powering progress
This unrestricted fund provides direct support to Charleston’s culinary and hospitality professionals through financial resources, mentorship, and growth opportunities. It empowers CHSWF to respond to industry needs—from supporting rising talent to addressing unexpected challenges—while sustaining the vital work of the organization itself.
